@ Kitaro.

"The Honda Argento Vivo has an unusual story. It started out life as a 1995 concept car designed by Pininfarina for Honda. The original show car was fitted with a 2.5 litre 5-cylinder engine driving the rear wheels. The Honda Argento Vivo featured an aluminium construction and two-tone finish with the aluminium left polished and exposed on the upper panels. The dark blue sections of the Argento Vivo were formed from fibreglass. After the unveiling it won several industry awards, and much praise from automotive journalists and the public alike.
The Argento Vivo also caught the attention of the Sultan of Brunei, an avid car collector with the money to make things happen. He managed to persuade Pininfarina to create a fleet of five Argento Vivo's for his family. However in place of the original Honda drivetrain was a Mercedes setup, including suspension, brakes, transmission and an AMG 7.3 litre V12.
As for a mass production, Honda-badged Argento Vivo being produced, Honda was already starting to develop the concept car which was to become the Honda S2000 roadster. Therefore Pininfarina's concept was surplus to requirement."
