Yow's TZ3 Corsa is af. Ik krijg toch stellig de indruk dat de kwaliteit geleden heeft onder de haast waarmee het model is gemaakt. Van opzij lijken de verhoudingen behoorlijk af te wijken t.o.v. het origineel. Natuurlijk blijft het knap als puur handwerk, maar ik heb van Yow beter werk gezien.

Yow did miss on this one. Really to bad as it's a very pretty car. Would any of you like it in 1/24th scale?

Does anyone on this great forum know the name and colour of this alfa sud i am after the blue colour, was told it was Francia blu and if so so i need to know if i can get aerosol colour in can ?????

Na Yow Modellini komt ook Looksmart met een TZ3 Corsa. Hopelijk met betere proporties.

Uit de Miniatura Nieuwsbrief:

Op 26 juni vindt op het Fiera di Milano (in Rho) de onthulling plaats van een bronzen sculptuur, ter ere van het 100-jarig bestaan van Alfa Romeo.

Ontwerp: Agostino Bonaluni, in samenwerking met het Centro Stile. De Disco Volante (C52) met 1900 techniek uit 1952 doet in deze interpretatie zijn naam ("vliegende schotel") eer aan.

Alle Alfisti die aan dit door het RIAR geïnitieerde project deelnemen ontvangen een 1:43 exemplaar (ter waarde van €60). Nog eens 99 modellen in 1:10 worden geleverd via een kunst-organisatie.

Het 1:43 R.I.A.R. model was in de Rho-Pero Fiera nog niet te vinden. Navraag bij Nadia kwam per kerende mail :

"You don't need to worry about your 1.43 model, they were not handed out to the donors during the Centenario event.
As a matter of fact, they are still being made and will be delivered by mail by the end of the year.
We hope we'll have another chance of meeting you in person.

i understand that you don't own that car? otherwise you could let te paint be analised. or if jou know someone who ownes one: he should caliberate his camera (whitebalance) and send it... just a thought

What do they need for analyzing Hans, just a sample of the correct colour? In that case maybe the colour of the "jousse" decals could be analyzed. It looks like it's supposed to be the exact same colour.

Indeed, the Jousse decal has to be matched, because even if it's not the exact colour of the car as it raced, a mismatch with the decal would be much more evident at sight than an incorrect colour wrt the real car.

Real colours may also look totally different on a small scale model than on the real car... Darker for instance... depends on the colour.

The same as a scale model isn't 100% accurate to the 1:1 car...

yes. just a small piece is enough to analyse it. or a flint of paint will do as well.

A very enthusiastic Alfist indeed, busy at checking details of the transporter for his model project.

The modified Giulietta Sprint shown on the bisarca model prototype is another interesting model. He explained that he found unpublished pictures of that car as he met its original owner, who told him the whole history of the car, which ended, after a serious crash, wearing the body of the very first 1957 Giulietta SS prototype, with some modifications.

@ onderwerp, where would i try and match paints the only other paints i use are aerosol can as you would use on a real car and here in uk would be from store shop s]called halfords, are there any place that you may use that i could contact ?

Binnenkort start de verkoop van de Giulietta van Norev. Dit keer kennelijk geen dealer-promo-versie, maar direct de luxe editie in vitrinedoosje en met wat meer likjes verf hier en daar.
Gaat ongeveer 30 euro kosten.
