Sorry Hans, I have to correct your statement: the EE registrations did exist in Italy since 1929, meant "Escursionisti Esteri" and were temporary registrations for foreigners.

Thank you, Patrick, molto interessante. I had been searching for information here but I didn't find anything so I presumed the EE 'sigle' being fantasy.

It is a fantasy livery indeed, the pictures come from the Japanese HPI website. They will produce a limited series (as they do with all liveries, there will be only one batch produced).
