Over 1:24 gesproken, Hachette/Quattroruote hebben in Italië een 'test' (lees: teaser-campaign) gestart met hun 1:24 Collezione Centenario. De modellen zijn nu in een klein deel van Italië beperkt vrkrijgbaar. Sommige verzamelaars lopen tientallen kiosken af om nu al een exemplaar te pakken te krijgen. Als je bedenkt dat de hele partij mogelijk allang ergens in Italië in een loods staat te wachten op verpakken en afleveren...

De rode Duetto was in dit topic al gepasseerd, evenals de aankondiging van de twee volgende modellen.

Een gebruiker op het automodellando forum kreeg de nr. 2 al te pakken:





Leuk fris model, met mooi twee-kleuren-blauw interieur.



O ja, nog een fotootje van de Polfi die ik hiervoor noemde, en zie hier de groene en wat info. Hij was er ook in het rood.

Yes this is an original model, i believe sold by dealers at the time.
Alfa Romeo was very succesful in the DTCC (Dutch Touringcars) with the 75 and these had Playboy sponsoring.
I believe this model is based on this and was probably only sold in the Netherlands.

Correct, the model was sold in the Netherlands only. I guess Marco is right that it was sold by Alfa dealers exclusively.

Sorry Hans, I have to correct your statement: the EE registrations did exist in Italy since 1929, meant "Escursionisti Esteri" and were temporary registrations for foreigners.

Thank you, Patrick, molto interessante. I had been searching for information here but I didn't find anything so I presumed the EE 'sigle' being fantasy.

Onder andere omdat op de foto's bijna nooit het rode zegel zichtbaar is dat het vervalmoment aangeeft. Yes indeed. I'm also glad that Canguro is in good hands too. Although, I have to admit that I didn't know about difference in Canguro's headlights till now. I would like to find few more other Pennys which I don't have, so I've skipped this one.
