While we are dealing with oddities, here's a classic oddity: the LIMA Alfetta 159. http://im2.freeforumzone.it/up/29/55/1507868160.jpg Nice old toy, but if you look closer, it has the typical 159 grille, mixed with features from its rival, the Ferrari 375: upper air intake, exhaust on both sides and...
Hmm... looks like I'll have to redo some my model :? But thanks for the photos! Super! You know what's even funnier about those extra lights? I do have a couple of photos where the car has two round extra lights, but with the kit came a photo of this car, which is obviously also from this race (it'...
Here are pictures of the actual car in the actual race, San Remo 1980: http://gtv116.free.fr/banques%20images/galeries/compet/rallye/gt%20rallye/san_remo80_mauro_pregliasco.JPG http://broyax.free.fr/courses/rallye47.jpg About the lights, you are right: during the race, stargenly enough, you can see ...
While we are here, I can add the model I built myself 30 years ago, on a Solido base and with the help of a Robustelli decal sheet. It was not the "big airscope" transkit, only the decals for a standard bonnet Turbodelta, version 1979, that I converted into a San Remo 1980 model. This incl...
What a wonderful models! Can you show us some more photo's of these two rare handcrafted models? Koen Thanks Koen for your appreciation. You find further picture of those Daffaure Alfa Giuliettas just following the link here, starting from the bottom of the page and following on the next one . I do...
An oddity today. Well, actually two of them. More about modelling archeology than anything else. Do you represent yourself the late 50's, when the only available model cars were classic Dinkys, Mercurys or Norevs, without windows nor interior? The only alternative was scratch built. Under such circu...
Thanks for the picture. The truck actually belonged to a private trasporter of Parma, hence the PR reg. number. He probably used to transport street cars on a daily basis, except for the Le Mans venue.
I do agree that it is difficult to understand how and why a model with missing reg plate lights can be issued. Either it's a flaw of the model, or they were not ready to issue it and the only thing to do was to delay. It is also weird to use super thin photoetching on such thick, white painted body ...
Oh en "wat het is"... het is een A&G Modelli, een 8C 2300 die kaal is gemaakt voor het racen. Nope, it's a 6C1750: the leaf springs are under the frame rails, whereas they are aside them on 8Cs. :) Seemingly in (incomplete) 1930 Targa Florio trim? Then either A&G have got the name...
What a fantastic model.... Now you've to load it with tyres and models I think... Koen :D http://im2.freeforumzone.it/up/26/74/796617926.jpg http://im2.freeforumzone.it/up/26/56/1934249856.jpg http://im2.freeforumzone.it/up/26/63/1065705200.jpg Of course the #602 Provence Moulage 6C3000CM, a...
Great model, but with the detail pictures i do spot some errors. The mudflab is much to narrow at the rear wheels, correct hight but not wide enough. And the strengtening bars on the rear ramp should be equaly spaced from each other. And they aren't. At the top of the ramp and at the bottom there a...
In this quiet summertime, I dare to wake up a few enthusiasts, those who have been impressed when the Gila Alfa T 900 Bisarca Bartoletti Le Mans 1953 was released. I could not resist the first opportunity to buy a built one with some discount on the hefty official price, so here it is: http://im2.fr...
